“I’ve earned us a trip for two to Reunion in Melbourne…”
When Leanne first started out as a Scentsy consultant I can remember some distant mention of “trips” and other things but then again, I wasn’t really paying that much attention to be honest.
Scentsy Family Reunion Melbourne 2017 was actually quite an interesting time. Leanne was recognised for reaching Sensational Start Level 3 which I didn’t appreciate until I found that not many consultants get that level so fast.
Melbourne was three days of presentations and an expo which was a great way to see what was coming up and also to meet other Scentsy people.
Passion is one very over used word. All I can say is that 1300 screaming females all in the one place is why I suspect The Beatles stopped touring.
“I’ve earned a cruise!”
Now, Melbourne is one thing but a seven night Mediterranean cruise on a brand new ship is something else.
Sadly, we could not take that trip, or the second Scentsy offered due to logistical reasons.
However, Leanne was able to roll the incentive trip earned into the 2018 Scentsy Reunion at Anaheim California, Scentsy’s first global conference. Scentsy provided all flights and spending money to make up the difference between the conference and the cruise.
I’ve been to a few conferences in the past however nothing compares to the generosity of the Scentsy team. Aside from the trip itself we got to go to Disneyland with an early pass each as well as several giveaways including giant wax bars, Scentsy Go, Sample moulds, Warmer and new testers. Not only does the consultant get these giveaways but so to does the guest.
For me the best part of the reunion is the knowledge gained about what is happening in the Scentsy world as well as networking with the home office team and of course other consultants.
There were new programs launched for different regions (North America, Europe, Australia / New Zealand) as well as new products.
By far the main announcement is that Scentsy and Disney have partnered, Buddies, scents and Sidekicks have been released and are available here.
This I think is a game changer as it raises the Scentsy profile significantly especially as Disney release movies, Scentsy can release new product to match. This means that Scentsy could come to the attention to a wider audience.
Well done to both the Disney and Scentsy teams for seeing this partnership through to fruition and also for somehow keeping it a secret for two years or so.
I was a bit apprehensive about going to the Scentsy Family Reunion however now I can’t wait for the opportunity to attend the next one, if I’m invited along of course. Then again, someone does need to carry the bags…
