| This is Leanne’s newsletter sent out 4 April 2020 and it is a good example what her many subscribers get. It also saves me typing up a new blog post, something I’ve not done for a long time. Looking back a few years it is a useful reminder of the situation we found ourselves in with some of the harshest lock-down (lockup?) rules anywhere. For some strange reason only cleaning products could be ordered and delivered. From memory this was because the rules at the time determined everyone would only be allowed essential items. What was determined to be essential was another story. Over the following months the situation slowly improved as many people wanted to freshen up their homes. Direct to market organisations such as Scentsy had an advantage in that systems were already in place for online orders, if the orders could get delivered. In person parties were out of the question due to the rules and also a certain amount of fear of catching the virus. Facebook parties and posting became the norm for a while there. The below newsletter from 4 April 2020 provides a snapshot in time, almost a journal entry which is useful as it hard to believe we found ourselves in the situation we were in.
